Meet Our Conference Speakers

Lisa Harper

Lisa's style combines sound biblical exposition and exegesis with engaging anecdotes and comedic wit.

Pastor Max Lucado calls Lisa one of the “best Bible tour guides around,” and author/actress Priscilla Evans Shirer adds, “Her God-given ability to not merely teach the Word

but package it in a way that stirs the heart and calls to action is incomparable. When she speaks, ears perk up!”

She’s been featured on numerous television and radio programs and is a regular on TBN’s globally syndicated

Better Together show. She’s spoken at hundreds of national and international women’s events, as well

as in churches around the world.

Lisa’s vocational resume includes 6 years as the director of Focus on the Family’s national women’s ministry where she created the popular “Renewing the Heart” conferences,

which were attended by almost 200,000 women, as well as

a decade of touring with “Women of Faith,” where she

spoke to over a million women about

the unconditional love of God.

Iris has been a Mission Service Corps volunteer since 1980.

She was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She became

very rebellious, ran away from home and became involved

in drugs and all that garbage that accompanies it. She was arrested as a teenager on armed robbery charges

and sentenced to eight years in the

Texas Department of Corrections.

She had to serve a longer time because of disciplinary responses with a bad attitude and rebellion. One and a half years after her release and more street involvement

and women's lib, a young man witnessed to her

and she responded to Jesus Christ.

She "knelt down a tramp and stood up a lady."

TRAVIS COTTRELL

For almost 30 years, Travis Cottrell has been answering the call of God on his life as an artist, songwriter, worship leader, author, and arranger. Since his ministry began, he has amassed 26 Dove Award nominations and won twice, including one for the critically acclaimed

"Jesus Saves Lives". He has written and recorded with countless artists, crossing many musical genres. Travis has written and arranged projects for the local church, has authored several books, and has performed and recorded in world renowned places such as

Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, and Abbey Road.

In 2013, he received the coveted Encore Award from his alma mater, Belmont University, given to alumni in recognition of achievements in the field of music.

For the last 24 years, Travis has worked alongside Beth Moore as worship leader

for Living Proof Ministries. Together with Beth, he has ministered to millions of people,

in all 50 states and across the world.

Travis also serves as Worship Pastor at Brentwood Baptist Church

in Brentwood, TN, where he serves with his wife, Angela.

Together, they have 3 children—Jack, Lily, and Levi.
